Sleep Rock Thy Brain
by Rinne Groff, Lucas Hnath, and Anne Washburn
conceived by Amy Attaway and Sarah Lunnie

The mind takes flight at night.

The science of sleep is cutting-edge stuff. Though sleep takes up fully one-third of our lives, its purpose has long been shrouded in mystery. One thing’s for sure: the mind at night is anything but quiet. Join us as three daring playwrights let their imaginations take flight, harnessing science and spectacle to explore the rich complexities of the sleeping brain.

Sleep Rock Thy Brain will premiere as part of the 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre, followed immediately with a secondary production by the University of Louisville Department Of Theatre Arts. All performances will take place in the Owsley Brown II Theater at Lincoln Performing Arts School, 930 East Main Street
